"Whisky Beer"
A superb balanced beer with ’smokey’ overtones from peated malt. With a measure of English Whisky from St. George’s Distillery in Norfolk, it is rich in flavour.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Simple malty honeyish aroma, light ambiguous British hops. Then peat comes out. Clear golden to orange colour. Taste is mostly interesting by the peat, which is moderate intensity. Simple, but the peat needs more complex malt bill to accompany it IMO. Still good.

Bottle from Beer - Bier in Düsseldorf. The beer has got a clear deep brown colour with a low head and medium body. Aroma of peat, smoke and acid smoke. Taste of big and heavy smoke, smoked cheese, bread and peat. Smokey-peaty finish. Not my kind of beer.

There are beers out there being smokey and...well...drinkable. Some of them are even quaffy and you choose to drink a second one because it kept you warm and made you drunk. THIS ONE here is smokey, bitter and every sip tell´s me:"Stop drinking that one." It indeed is disgusting. I cannot even describe what´s most annoying about that one. The smoke, the skunk, that unbalanced and badly suprising bitterness ? Does not matter.

0.5l bottle. Clear light orange color with almost no foam. Aroma of smoked ham, wood, leather and fruits. Taste is nicely bitter with smokey flavor that stays for a while. Nice beer, but not that special.

Bottle; pours cloudy amber with a thin off white head; aroma smoky with malt and hints of wood and caramel; taste is slightly sweet with smoke, wood, and malt; has a dry bitter finish; a little smokier than I expected but not overpowering; decent beer

500ml bottle at home. Appearance: clear ambe, with a medium, off-white head. Aroma: smoked ham, leather Taste: smoke, ham in, leather and the finish is quite bitter and harsh aftertaste. thin body, average carbonation. Aroma is o a good rauchbier, but the problem is the quite harsh inish.
