Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall in Borough Market. Pours light copper with a slight white head that was quite transient. Definite smoke aroma. Med body. Flavor is mostly peat. Hints of caramel. Perhaps a little bitter, but it’s really peat in the finish.

Bottle. Pours nice clear amber, with an airy head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, toffee, peat and oak barrels. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with burned malt and whisky notes, as well as some butter scotch and notes of diacetyl with a smokey finish.

19th January 2012 Clear gold beer, thin white head. Crispy light palate. Smoky whisky! Big time! Totally dominates. A little pale malt and minerals. Crisp finish. Way too much peat!
