A deep ruby red strong ale with an excellent balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. A classic example of a ’winter warmer’; high in alcohol and rich in taste.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours dark brown with some red tints and a beige head that settles as a thin layer. The aroma is strangely woody, not pleasant. The taste mainly bitter from roasted malts or roasted barley and hops. There’s some chocolate in there too, but also some metalic taste. Not a great beer, IMO.
