50cl ceramic bottle. Dark brown colour with a frothy and good lasting off-white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel and toasted malts. Flavour is sweet, moderate to burnt sugar, slightly spicy and bready. The final is average long, sweet and bready. Carbonation is soft. Texture is oily. Body is medium to high.

750 mL bottle at home. Pours dark brown with hints of mahogany and some red. Very light brown foam, good lacing. Aroma of dried cherries, some plum, spiciness, and light, yeasty malts. Taste profile mirrors the aromaís, with the dried cherries accentuated. Lighter on the palate than I expected, though itís pleasant. Nothing too special here, but pairs nicely with a chicken dinner.

Not bad, but nothing excellent. Some standard malty and dried fruit flavors expected of the belgian style, but nothing else. Also, very weak flavor for the style, almost watered-down tasting. Iíve had much better.

Poured pretty much black with a large bubbly light-tan head. Interesting aroma of roasted malts, figs, and fruit with yeast. Taste is smooth and roasted with a lot of fruity notes. Finish has lots of figs and some fruity yeast flavors. A tad over-carbonated. Taste has raisins as well. Overall pretty good.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2012 500mL ceramic swingtop bottle poured hazy brown with big beige head and nice lace. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste is of roasted malt and nuts. Body is medium as is the carbonation. Is it just me or do beers taste better from ceramics?

Bottle, shared with my brother-in-law. Medium amber brown, average tan head. Aroma is sweet and cola-ish, kind of odd and uninviting. Sweet caramel flavour, watery, sugary and simple. No yeast, no fruit, no spice, just blah. I donít really get this brew, especially given that their blonde ale was pretty decent.
