| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Ceramic bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium-sized head. Aroma was of yeast, banana and some citrus. Flavor is slightly water-down, with the yeast, some spiciness, a little hops, banana bread balancing together. Not my favorite from Belgium, but nothing bad. tjp68 (31), Washington, Missouri, USA

Complex flavor that changes from the tip of the tongue to the back of throat. Strong caramel flavor in the middle. I love this. Will definitely seek it out again. reakt (937), Greater London, England

Large fizzy white head that was mostly lasting. Slightly cloudy pale yellow colour. Aroma was yeast, citrus, perfume, spice, pepper, liquorice, caramel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and a light alcoholic texture. Flavour was balanced between the sweet and a mix of light bitter and acidic notes. Finish was sweet with again light hints of acidic and some spicy aftertaste. brew4all (102), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Pours a hazed tawny yellow w/ a full, semi creamy froth that slowly reduces to a creamy clump. Aroma is tropical w/ milky citrus rind and granite. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers brings out a cotton like texture. This golden ale is one of the more strongly flavored w/ tons of mouth watering citrus milk. Theres a briskness that really appeals to me. So strong yet beholds finesse. Flavors of citrus milk, vanilla, and only slight banana intertwined w/ a creamy tropical collage of nunces to include pineapple, kiwi, passion fruit, peach, pear, and apple. It reminds me of a protien fruit drink I used to get at the health food store (gentle strength in tempe). The finish is bittered w/ a defined peach pit component. Overall: This brew rocks. Perfect balance and very gratifying. Highly recommended.
