Teh body was a slightly hazy dark gold with a long lasting and dense white head. This left lots of lacing on the glass. The aroma is rich fruit with some peach schnapps. There is also some dandelions along with some light sweat. The taste has some pancakes with dried apricots. There is also a little bit of honey. The finish is a little boozy with some hazelnuts. The mouthfeel is fairly thick and sticky. This is decent, but I would like a little more flavor. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Light fruity aroma with hints of banana. Boring and watery taste with a faint lingering banana like flavor. Unpleasant metallic finish. PilsnerPeter (2612), Flushing, New York, USA

Aftertaste lasts with crispy hops and spices. mattd017 (51), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2006 I wasn’t too impressed. Came in a ceramic bottle. The long skinny neck caused problems with smooth pouring, possibly resulting in a slightly more flat beer than it is intended to be: very little carbonation with extremely small bubbles. Not a flavor I appreciated either. Too unremarkable, barely any hoppiness, all too sweet for me. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2006 Bottled. Pours a dark amber color with virtually no carbonation. Strong sweet aroma. Taste is a little sweet, with some bitterness. Some yeast and malts are noticable as well. Seemed a bit flat. Slightly bitter finish. Some traces of dark fruits. thebeertourist (2777), Oslo, Norway
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 29, 2006 75 cl bottle branded St Sebastiaan Grand Cru. Best before 30.08.04 and was therefore offered as a souvenir gift from the kind gentlemen at Holemans Drankencentrale. Poured it carefully to avoid the big sediments on the bottom, still some of it escaped into the glass. Otherwise clear, deep orangey golden with a medium white head. Strange aroma of sweet malt and sharp hops. Sweet malty flavours behind the musty cellar character (from the aging I suppose). Some peachy fruitiness. Dry, grainy texture. Warming alcohol. Well-carbonated. Not altogether successful, but it could be due to aging as well.
