Bottle, 50cl. Just love the ceramic bottle and the swing top. Golden colour beer with a medium white foam, rapidly diminishing. Weak aroma (at least weaker than i expected...), with notes of hops and fruits. Highly carbonated in mouth. Alcohol is a little too strong, without a nice backup. Finish is lightly sweet. Flavours aren’t well mixed in this beer. Not bad, but, as i said before, i was expecting a lot more.

bottle. another heavy ceramic bottle. translucent orange-golden body with a small white head. not very Belgian-like aroma - light fruit and graininess. body is sweet and grainy but there isn’t a whole lot of character. some pear flavour. carbonation is spritzy at times. mediocre.

Bottle. Dark gold colour with a slim white head. Aroma has malt, caramel, honey and citrus. Taste has fruit and honey, some yeast. Medium bodied. Alcohol is apparent, particularly in the finish, without being overpowering. Good ale.

Alcohol and sweetness to the aroma. pours golden blonde with absolutely no head, yet carbonated. Poured from a ceramic bottle known for leaking bottle caps so that might have something to do with it. But still it doesn’t taste oxidized. Still a good beer!

Bottle - ceramic with a cap and swing top. LIttle bit of history, first. This is the first time I’ve seen this beer in my area since the mid 90’s. I worked at a gourmet grocery store between 92-96 and we sold it there, so it’s been around 10 years since I’ve had this. It was very good back then, lets see if it has changed, shall we? The pour is deep gold with a bubbly, but quickly terminal, white head. Nose is slightly hoppy and floral but mainly sweet. Sweet malts, hint of honey, candied fruits and light yeast. Taste is also more sweet than bitter. More honey, cadyish notes, ripe fruits, light citrus, light yeast and minimal floral hoppiness. Body is light and creamy with mild carbonation feel to it. Slight bit of alcohol is noticeable despite the 7.6% ABV. Finishes with more sweet malts, honey, light toffee, ripe fruits, faint citrus, and light yeast. I can say that this seems to remind me of the beer I had so long ago, and probably, due to it’s rather sweet taste, would explain why I liked it so much back then. Kind of like meeting up with an old friend. Good but not great. My tastes have changed more than this beer.

Pale straw to light gold body with an overflowing white head. Citrus aromas especially grapefruit and then yeast. Big clumps of lacing. Smooth drinking, medium body, maybe a touch watery, this went down well enough and I didn’t pick up the alcohol at all.

sweet spice. Bottle work of art. Surprisingly refreshing summer drink. Yeast and cream but doesn’t seem a triple. Better than expected and popular with mates. Fruit, honey, suitably noticeably carbonated. Medium-light mouthfeel, lace and soap bubbles on top of golden yellow.
