Pours amber with a rocky head and nice lacing. Honey aromas followed by brown sugar, citrus, hops and some yeast. Mettalic flavor, yeast, citrus, stale honey, and hops. Thin body with a metallic aftertaste.

Bonze with some sticky head. The aroma is sweet with some malt & grainyness. Flavor is sickeningly sweet with metallic hops and some toasty grungy finish.

Hazy orange body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of curacao, coriander seed, wheat and apricots. Light-bodied; Sharp astringent taste up front with some fruity sweetness. Aftertaste shows bitterness and not much else. Overall, not strong and not pleasing. I bought this 75 cL bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 11-April-2004.

A beer this good deserves at least one score marking it near five. Color is really beautiful. Terrific rich golden ale. Very indiginous to Belgium. Wonderful notes of honey. Golden ales like this are underated but like Leffe and Prarie Path (which this beats on both accounts) I have always enjoyed the rich malty flavor of the style.

Nice golden color, with a thin head to it. Aroma has a sweeter leafy side to it. Mouthfeel starts as a more boring beer, but turns into a nice simple hop snap to ot, but ends smoothly. Flavor is simple and mirrors the rest of the beer in as a fine compliment.

A nice looking belgian, typical in all the characteristics. Lots of yeast aromas, with a big puffy white head, and great lacing. The flavor is overly sweet to me, almost cloying, with tastes of fruitcake, candi sugars and light spice. Medium bodied, with a very nice mouthfeel, but the aftertaste is kind of bitter nad bland.

Bottle. Poured hazy golden-amber with lots of floaties and a huge off white head the lingered quite well. Nice belgian aroma - sweet, citrus fruity with lots of yeast and some spice. Flavor is sweet and bready with a bit of pepper and a good hop bite. Medium body and mild carbonation.

Golden with medium sized head. Sweet (perhaps too sweet), and fruity. Soft palate. Drinkable but there is not much going on.
