3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour produces zero head, color is a "bubbly blonde". Aroma is a bit fruity which is common to the style. Slightly bitter and a little sweet tasting. Finish has a stronger fruit quality.

I have sampled this beer several times. I never realized that the %abv was so high. Fruity and slightly bitter, I am more impressed now that I know that the %abv is so high.

Blond beer with a medium head served from 75cl bottles. Weak aroma. A straight forward beer. Slightly bitter, dry without any particular characteristics.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer poured a dark golden color and man, if that head ever stopped coming out of the bottle, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to tell you the huge bubbly head was off white and subsided quickly and left some nice lace. A good deal of carbonation and sediment present. The aroma was of hops and fruit, mostly apricot. The flavor was of hops and citrus with a slightly astrigent finish on a medium body.

Decent brew. Yeasty, appley nose and taste. Spicey undertones, like oregano or corriander. Very smooth and a great balance. Lovely gold color.

Apples and cinnamon and grapefruits are smelled out of this golden liquid. Apple flavor, also hops - bitter and spicey, fullmouth peppery aftertase with a long lasting bitterness. Nice

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The nose is full of mulberries, starfruits and quince with earthen undertones of pumice and flaxseed...OK, I confess...I’m living a lie. I admit it, I didn’t smell or taste any of those things in this beer, but I can tell you that the alcohol isn’t all that well-hidden (note to St. Sebastiaan: try a 14% abv WorldWide Stout to see how to hide alcohol). This is also a pretty sweet beer. Quite nice, really. The rubber stopper is a classy touch, because with 7.6% alcohol, I’m not going to polish off this whole crockware jug in one sitting.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Frothy, off-white head, diminishing fast. Sweetish flavor ith a hint of sourness. Hops, citrus and a bit of cinnamon in aroma and flavor. Thin beer, and the alcohol content is hardly noticable. The beer would be much better if it had more body.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2008 Rocky and very sticky cobweb lacework. Unfamiliar aroma of apricot, bubblegum, sour apple, grainy pale malt notes, stinky cheese (which is wonderful), phenols, leather, straw, and peppery alcohol. Very soft and round on the palate; medium light body. Peppery flavors with metallic notes, melony softness, and phenolic characteristics.
