Nice golden color with a good slightly frothy head. Good mixture of sweet and bitter leaning slightly toward sweet. Some unidentified fruity aroma.

Ceramic bottle. BB 08/06/11. Aroma of malt and candy sugar with a bit of stone fruit. Slightly hazy golden color with a firm, lasting head. Thin to medium bodied. Starts with sweet fruit, yeast spice, and a touch of warmth. The finish is a touch of clove, lingering sweetness, and a touch of bitter. Quite nice.

Ceramic bottle. Honey yellow color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and yeast. Sweet fruity and malty taste with a yeasty slightly spicy finish.

A Mes rate: Bottle from Gwin Llyn Wines. Superb stubby 50cl ceramic coated bottle with a cap and a flip top for once it is opened in case you don’t wish to drink it all. Lucky that as I didn’t want to drink it all. Very standard spicy Belgian in a tripel style. Can taste and smell the Moortgat influence. Boring as hell.

Bottle at home. Nice and golden, creamy. Wheaty aroma. Citrusy taste. Very prickly and nicely textured. Very enjoyable.

16oz ceramic bottle. Cloudy golden pour under a very tall and long lasting ceamy white head. Aroma of cloves, overripe peaches and a touch of yeast. Restrained banana, malt, cloves and lemon zest flavors. Creamy texture with a hint of pepper in the sweet finish. I sampled this on a very hot and humid day which didn’t do the brew any favors so I’ll give it another pour under better conditions and re-rate if needed.
