Bottle from Gwin Llyn Wines. Superb stubby 50cl ceramic coated bottle with a cap and a flip top for once it is opened in case you don’t wish to drink it all. Lucky that as I didn’t want to drink it all. Very standard spicy Belgian in a tripel style. Can taste and smell the Moortgat influence. Boring as hell. altonbrownd (1891), Amsterdam, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2007 16oz ceramic bottle. Cloudy golden pour under a very tall and long lasting ceamy white head. Aroma of cloves, overripe peaches and a touch of yeast. Restrained banana, malt, cloves and lemon zest flavors. Creamy texture with a hint of pepper in the sweet finish. I sampled this on a very hot and humid day which didn’t do the brew any favors so I’ll give it another pour under better conditions and re-rate if needed.
