marcus (918), Sacramento, California, USA Jul 18, 2008 This golden amber ale poured with a bubbly off-white head and a malty aroma. There is a heavy caramel malt flavor with candy sugar and dark fruit notes and a bitter finish. Suds_McDuff (976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Jul 12, 2008 ... kinda nice, good after a tiring day at work ..." if you label me, you negate me" ... tastes of honey, crunchies, dust, NA mead ... goes down easily, abv is well covered ... light orange-gold with a slight haze ... nothing that will blow you away but an enjoyable kinda tasty beer... HomeBrewHawk (112), De Soto, Kansas, USA Jun 29, 2008 .5 liter ceramic bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Best by 9/11/11. Poured a pale gold with little to no head. Little carbonation. Sugar and a little clove in the nose. Slightly spicy flavor, medium body. Candy sugar sweetness. A little yeasty in the finish. Some alcohol warmth. Pretty bland for a Belgian beer. tjthresh (1257), LaPorte, Indiana and Belton, Missouri, USA Jun 28, 2008 Share by HomeBrewHawk. Pours hazy golden with some white head. Aromas of apples and honey. A bit grassy with light sugar. Pear and honey in the flavor. A little grassy and minty. Fuller body. Not much carbonation. Balanced finish. Good, but not memorable. csbosox (948), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jun 28, 2008 Thanks to HomeBrewHawk for bringing this over. Pils malt, spicy aroma, alcohol, light fruit (apple). Soft mouthfeel, big bodied. Taste is light pils, pepper, light fruit, and light alcohol. Tasty, but a little bland.
