Draft at Cannery Row Brewing Monterey. Nose of caramel. Clear dark brown with a medium beige head. Flavor is caramel licorice and dark fruit.

While this definitely wasn’t the worst beer on tap at the brewery, this wasn’t really anything to get excited over. An aroma with fruity esters, light spice and a slight funkiness that I assume was from bad tap lines. Appearance was a dark orangish/red, cloudy with absolutely no head at all. I even tried numberous times to stir one up, but no luck. Mouthfeel was watery. Flavor was light fruits, some bubblegum, boiled veggies, with that odd funkyness rearing it’s head again. I struggled to make it through a pint of this. Ugh.
