See www.st-stefanus.be

Bottle @ The Swan, London. Pours a slightly hazy golden body with a small white head. Nose is banana, straw, pale malts, white sugar and hints of clove, ginger and syrup. Taste is syrup, banana, white sugar, alcohol, straw and hints of honey melon and red fruits. Medium body, high carbonation. Decent Belgian blonde, straight up and no fuss.

Pours a deep golden orange with an off-white head. The smell is orange, yeast, candi sugar, spice. The taste is spice, candi sugar, some caramel, yeast ending dry and spicy. The body is light/medium with active carbonation. Pretty nice Belgian ale.

Bottiglia da 75 cl. Imbottigliata ad Agosto 2014, maturata 10 mesi. Dorata, velata dai lieviti in sospensione, schiuma bianca mediamente persistente.

informative label with bottling date and little flavour-table on it, I like that. aromas of dried bananas with a metallic edge to it, also a slight sulphuric note, then milky toffees and a bubblegum-clove track as well. Taste brings up a lot of soft, milky caramel again, with the bananas, phenols and some alcohol heat. Finishes with a clovelike bitterness tilting towards burnt plastic. Surely a nice beer but not my style.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours yellow-orange single finger white head, slightly cloudy. Aroma of floral hops, orange, lemon, wheat. Taste of initial wheat, some banana, orange, lemon, then malts, caramel, toffee, little kick from the alcohol. Floral hops throughout, light spices too, toasted malts and a sugary sweetness. Nice.

OK for a Belgium. Deep golden color and a little hazy. The yeast is light and not as much flavor as expected. Bottle

750 mL bottle poured and shared. Thanks to Sandra for sharinh. Beautifully presented bottle, brew master autographed, and cellar release dated 8-2012. Pours a bright golden yellow color with a sizable foam head. Floral aroma with banana and belgian yeast. Flavor is rich banana, sugar sweet honey, and a floral note. Late yeast kick. Very tasty and unique. Great beer here.
