3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle, pours golden brown with a small bubbly white head Caramel malt with coriander spice and with a good balance. Bottle advises this is brewed with 3 different yeasts but I can’t detect much unusual yeast flavour. A decent belgian blonde beer, well crafted and of good quality.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Released August 2012. Mallty-clove-apple nose. Slightly sweet, light bitterness, a pleasant touch of sourness. Overall, a pleasant Belgian blonde. Perhaps beginning to decline at 18 months’ aging.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rather elegant corked and wired brown bottle with frosted branding on the glass (75cl). Pour is hazy golden with a small white head and soapy lace. Aroma is straightforward honey sweet malts with bready yeasts and a slight citrussy presence. Taste is similar with a lightly herbal bitter finish. Palate is medium bodied and oily with spritely mouthfeel. Acceptable, like a more refined and less sweet Leffe Blonde.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber with a large fading head.
Nose shows doughy Belgian yeast, soft spicy phenols, caramel and candi notes.
More doughy notes as flavours along with caramel and more candi sugar characters. A little cloying.
Carbonation seems a tad excessive.

Hazy blond appearance. Aroma is very sweet, fructose, strawberries, etc. Flavour is like a fruity jam but also yeasty. Very lively carbonation.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cellar release date 07/2012. Consumed 01/22/14.
Beautiful cloudy orange-yellow color. Finger of puffy head. It is absolutely opaque. So murky, unbelievable.
Aroma of apple skins, peach, Belgian funk. Champagne and white wine grapes. Mildly horsey but it’s a welcome counterbalance. Autumn leaves.
Flavor is funk, champagne, green apples. The funk is understated, and the sweetness hits the back of the tongue. There is a perfumey flavor.
Feel is try: not quite ashy but papery. It is a lovely beer. Not sure if it should be slightly better after aging for 18 months, but it is a lovely beer nonetheless.
