COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
See www.st-stefanus.be

Appearance was hazy caramel gold with rocky diminishing off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are array of banana, clove, butterscotch, vanilla with rich sweet malts, eatery yeasts and alcohol hidden well. Taste are sweet caramel malts, then hints of lemony, spicey noble hops with slightly tarty yeasts, alcohol nonexist. Palate was spitzy champagne like CO2 with light-meduim body, then average length tarty dryish citrusy finish. Well done begliums.

From 750 mL bottle, courtesy of Tim McQ. Light Belgian wheat ale nose, mild esters and yeasty notes. Some honey and orange blossom sweetness. Golden clear with creamy-pillowy white lacing head. Medium to light bodied with medium to heavy carbonation. Kind of weak in flavor but medium sweet with light fruity esters and mild carbonic bite. Yeasty chalky finish with medium sweetness and very little bitterness. Mild after.

courtesy of Markus Obrist - gusher !! cloudy dark blond beer under a giant foamy white head; nice lace work; aroma of hay and corn flakes; creamy palate and medium-bodied, dusty and yeasty, dry and with a low bitterness; more notes of corn flakes with fruity tones deep below - a very strange and bad beer

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom. Pours orange gold with a 4 finger creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma of banana ester and a little light malt. Med body, almost. Flavor is a little earthy with banana/yeast/spice. I think it almost deserves the appellation crisp. Certainly tasty.

A pretty clear yellow with a fluffy white lacing head. The aroma is malt sweetness with some spice, clove and banana. The flavor has the same with a very nice bitterness to balance. Very well done.
