COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
See www.st-stefanus.be

750 ml bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a large foamy white pillow head that slowly dissipates to foamy film and lacing. Aroma is spicy sweet yeast and malt with good citrus. Taste has more spice malty yeast bread and citrus peel and subtle banana. Palate is thin with a lively carbonation and dry finish.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours golden with an attractive white head and a fruity aroma. There is a fruity malt flavor with a Belgian yeast presence that results in some banana ester and a slightly sour finish.

bottle pours slightly gold orange with tiny white bubbles coagulating on top. Aroma is nice and yeasty, notes of bubblegum, barnyard, sweet hay, mild cheese, sweet earth, light floral tones. Big, bready mouthfeel, sparkling carbonation, fizzy yeast. Flavor is big, spicy, and bready with notes of cereal, lemon, and tart grains. Yeast dominates the flavor and texture.

Bottle:   Dark straw, hazy, orangish hue, large pillowy white head, spotty lacing.   Bright straw aroma, bordering on floral, a touch of basement (even that is bright).   Bright straw on the tongue, pale breadiness, faint floral notes.   Getting a touch of alcohol, just a touch.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Very spritzy... *BURP*   Finishes bright straw, muted floral notes, spritzy.   Nothing crazy, but enjoyable.

According to the bottle this beer gets better with age, I drank the 8/2012 cellar release in December 2012, so quite young. The beer had a big frothy head and had a hazy blonde appearance, aroma was yeasty and spicy which followed through on the taste. I’d like to have this beer again after being laid down for a few months to see if the flavours develop

750, corked and baled. Pours a clear medium amber with a surging white head that settles quickly. Big honey, grass, and chamomile nose, some sweet cream showing as well. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Honey, banana, grass, and floral notes on the mid palate with a mild honeyish finish.
