COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
See www.st-stefanus.be

ChrisOs Crimbo Tasting. Thanks to Chris for sorting out the ID on this one! Clear gold beer, big off white head. Light semi dry palate. Very sweet pale malt - sugary! Light citrus and a semi dry finish. Too sweet by far - and I like a sweet beer!

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom. Pours orange gold with a 4 finger creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma of banana ester and a little light malt. Med body, almost. Flavor is a little earthy with banana/yeast/spice. I think it almost deserves the appellation crisp. Certainly tasty.

courtesy of Markus Obrist - gusher !! cloudy dark blond beer under a giant foamy white head; nice lace work; aroma of hay and corn flakes; creamy palate and medium-bodied, dusty and yeasty, dry and with a low bitterness; more notes of corn flakes with fruity tones deep below - a very strange and bad beer

330ml, best before 20/06/13. Hazy straw colour. Estery fruits. Quite spicy on the palate. Maybe a bit too spiced. Fairly tasty.

4-2012 bottle. clear gold, sparkling and effervescent body with a large-bubbled tan head. banana esters, candy sugar, grain husks and brash alcohol in the nose with milder notes of spoiled apple mah and solvent. medium body; mild bitterness; mostly sweet. sticky, candy-like banana and gum with red apple and coarse grains front to back. watery finish with loose carbonation froth. seems a pretty pedestrian attempt at a lighter Belgian golden / strong ale. grows more mousy / hairy as it opens and warms. eww.
