COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

75cl bottle from Auchan Mt St Martin: Poored in beer-glass: nice clear honey-amber color with minimal white head. Aroma: caramel, yeast, fruity, herbs. Taste: sweet, hoppy, yeasty with nice bitter finish. Overall nice and very drinkable beer with very little taste of 9,5vol alcohol

750ml bottle - What a really nice beer, and while beers from France are (for me) typically horrible, this brewery continues to impress me. The beer pours out a beautiful looking lemony yellow body with a huge, fluffy, airy white head. Aroma has many layers of complexity. Lemon cake batter, shortbread cookies, light Champagne/white wine, and light spice. Flavor is also just as incredible with clean flavors of white grapes, sweet grain, apples, vanilla and light lemons. Really complex and each sip brings a different mix of flavors. Some sips are really sweet, some are fruit forward, some have a lemon twist. Love, love this beer but the price is a bit of a put off. Maybe the best BDG I’ve had? Not sure but damned close.

Weak, almost Saison style yeast aroma, good bitter finish, but also quite sweet with its 8.5 abv alcohol hit. As some else said, quite similar to Duval.

St. Barth Beer No. 4 Might be overrating this beer due to the lack of competition here on the island. Drank from a plastic cup on Shell Beach while smoking a Cuban Partagas. Pours tan and clear with ample white head. Scent and flavor have buttery notes you get from French Oak. Medium carbonation. A nice beer I have never seen in the States. Bottle - St. Barthelemy, FWI

Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow with a stable white head. If you think "Duval" you won’t be far off. Crisp, fresh, zesty aroma leads to a clean, earthy hop flavour with underlying lager malt and a balancing sweetness. Very good.

An excellent brew that demonstrates the French know something about beer too (albeit likely from their Belgian brothers across the border). Nicely balanced and full of flavour it totally hides it strength with its sheer drink-ability.

BOTTLE 75CL. Look: clear yellow with a white head. Aroma: sweet, lageresque, some malt. Taste: clean sweet strong lager.

Disappointing.
