3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
St. Barth Beer No. 4 Might be overrating this beer due to the lack of competition here on the island. Drank from a plastic cup on Shell Beach while smoking a Cuban Partagas. Pours tan and clear with ample white head. Scent and flavor have buttery notes you get from French Oak. Medium carbonation. A nice beer I have never seen in the States. Bottle - St. Barthelemy, FWI

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow with a stable white head. If you think "Duval" you won’t be far off. Crisp, fresh, zesty aroma leads to a clean, earthy hop flavour with underlying lager malt and a balancing sweetness. Very good.

An excellent brew that demonstrates the French know something about beer too (albeit likely from their Belgian brothers across the border). Nicely balanced and full of flavour it totally hides it strength with its sheer drink-ability.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 75cL. Home. A clear pale yellow beer with a thin large white head. Good persistence. Fruity aroma (grapes), caramel, herbs. Makes me think of a "rosé" wine. Medium sugary sweet, then dry medium bitter and a new sweet wave at the end. Medium body, thin silky texture. Lively carbonation. Bittersweet finish with a nice warming note. Overall, i really enjoyed this refreshing herbal bittersweet ale. Especially when the temperature got higher.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle 75cl. Golden with a huge white head. Aroma reveals not that this is a triple beer. Has most in common with a pils type. Taste is a bit like a sweet pils. Easy to drink. In this beer, you will not be surprised. Drinkable but not spectacular.

A 75cl bottle that is a bitch to open. Nose is weedy, grassy and wheaty. Almost dry. Slightly sweet. Almost refreshing. Decent bit nothing more.
