The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

Kolor jest z?ocisty, klarowny. G?sta, gruba, bia?a piana. Goryczka lekko ziemista i alkoholowa. Wysycenie wysokie, bardzo pasuje. Alkohol delikatnie rozgrzewa.

Ya know...I LOVE this beer. Great aroma, pours a light gold in glass with a decent head. It’s a bittersweet beer with bananas and a bit of caramel with a touch of sourness that compliments the sweetness well. A hint of pear and the taste lingers like a fart in an elevator...except it’s very pleasant. 3 Monts, it should be "French for beer!"

Bottle at private tasting with Justin J (7/1/15). Great European example of what a Biere de Garde should be. Lots of bready and sweet malt character, but tempered by a lively carbonation. Earthy, sweet, effervescent -- really good.

APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: very sweet, pilsener like, but lacks a lot. TASTE: mostly sweet, some malts as well... Nothing special.

Pale, clear straw colour with a fine head leaving some lace. Light and complex aroma with bread and honey, vanilla and even a little licorice. A satisfying bitterness and the same malt dominant taste as hinted by the aroma. At first I felt that the balance was perfect however alcohol does linger on the palate.

Golden ver carbonated. Taste is sweet and complex. Hazelnuts, vanilla, silky malts very smooth and tasty. A bit sweet to be an any meal kind of beer, but a nice enjoyable beer. Sweet desserty finish.
