COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

Pale yellow golden body under a substantial white head with moderate carbonation. Sweet mild honey and dry hay with some crisp floral aromas. After that not much happening really, though would be quit ok with a mild cheese platter during summer. as it has some pleasing hoppiness.

Flowery nose with a bit of fruit. Clear and apple coloured. Quite dry with the tiniest hint of caramel. Tastes refreshing, which means you’ll be tempted to drink faster than is wise, I’d bet.

75cl bottle. Pours a pale golden yellow colour, big foamy white head and aroma of biscuity malt, fruity grain, yeast. Taste is very sweet biscuity malt, caramel, toffee, grain, some tart fruitiness with hay & grassy notes and a slightly metallic earthy hoppy bitterness. Creamy syrupy mouth feel, medium bodied, well carbonated, boozy warming dry bitter finish.

Clear bright golden yellow, big foamy white head slowly settles and lasts. Fruity yeasty musty aroma. Bitter and sour on the tongue, tart fruitiness and earthy yeast, lightly spiced and vionous. Average carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Boozey buttery maltiness emerges as it warms. Dry bitter finish. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Brilliant, clear, light amber with big, foamy, flotsam off-white head, fine legs / Delicate, sweet nose of orchard fruit, grain, caramel, oak / Light to medium body, citrus acidity, very sweet maltiness dominating the underlying hoppiness / Flavors of turning apple, caramel, chrysanthemum, oak / A fine beer, but somewhat simple and overly sweet.

Light and tasty despite the booze. Pours clear light amber with a big pillowy head. Very nice aroma of fruit and some bread. A hint of citrus comes through. The flavor has a sweetness to it but is well balanced with the hops. The finish is dry and refreshing.

From Carrefour. It pours a golden yellow lively beer. A thick white head that vanishes quickly. I was expecting more, not just for the label but for the looks. In the end is a good beer, though.
