3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden pour with thick foamy head. Complex aromas with citrus, dried fruit and crackers. Good balance, light maltiness, hints of sourdough. Not a fan of the finish. Oily and alcoholic.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (1 P 9.4FL OZ): clear, golden, moderate head that lasts. Lifted malt, fruit. Pale malts and almost a hint of wheat. Very fresh. Subtle hops. Layers of aroma. Dry, mid palate sweet. Moderate to low bitterness. Almost sour or acid. Very Bright, rich, long palate. Pale malt and lo who’s flavor. Wonderful freshness and depth of flavor. Stone fruit. Wine like.
F:::ing good beer. Classic like the label says. Big but elegant. Beer does not need to be bombed with hops or dark malt to be good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at Abbots Ale House. Pours a clear pale golden yellow, nice white head, good lacing. Grassy nose. Grassy bitterness in the flavour. Lively carbonation, grassy aftertaste. Poor beer, I thought, lacked body, flavour and complexity. One dimensional and dull.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Très bonne bière avec un gout agréable (on ne sent pas trop le gout de l’ alcool malgré ses 8,5°)
Un gout caractéristique, un peu acide

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Jaspers.
Pours a slightly hazy medium golden color with a huge white head that persists forever leaving copious amounts of lace on the way down my glass. Pear and plum with pepper and sweet sugar make up the bulk of the aroma. A light mineral and yeastiness rounds out the nose. The flavor is sweeter than I thought with the honey like and bready pilsner malt shining through. Light pitted fruits a touch of warming and a hint of pepper round it all out. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Nice brew, if it weren’t a country tick I never would have picked it up, but I’m glad I did, I rather enjoyed it.

Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is of light fruits, wheat, and some slight citrus. Taste is apple and oak/wood with citrus. Booze and strange metallic flavor in the finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Always looking for good strong beer to try, and the minimalist labeling of this one caught my eye. Took it home along with a nice bottle of Chimay gold and some Hoperation Tripel Cross. Pours a lager-like pale, clear gold, which makes me frown (if I can see through my beer, I am unhappy,) but it’s foamy white head has some rather good lasting power, which does make me feel better. Aroma of tart apples, cider, citrus; rather attractive. Flavour is on the mild side, though not in an unpleasant way; sweet malt is cushioned and balanced with well-matched bitterness, smooth finish without any of that gross bready aftertaste that megaswill lagers always have. Could never tell this was an 8.5% beer. Very good; I’d have this on a hot day without hesitation, and I do believe I shall use it to wean some of my acquaintances off their megaswill rubbish.

Couleur or, petit col blanc. Arome malté tres floral. La saveur se porte sur les cereales avec des notes de poire. Tres agreable.
