3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
"Perfect" head over seemingly average, pale, gold ale. Held to light the continually rising bubbles and clean simplicity of this beer shine through. Nose is of yeast and hops, with very little alcohol. Taste follows suit. But the palate is very complex with cereal and other similarities I can't put a finger on. I want to rerate a "kept" bottle. The alcohol is *very* well hidden, which make big gulps great. (Slight alcohol tingle on tounge, but 8.5%?). Clean and easy, good stuff.

Bottled, 750ml cork & caged from The Auchan Hypermarche, Louvroil, France. Hazy yellow gold with explosive white head. There is a pear drop character to this with a cut grass, hay like note. Sweetish, yeasty. It’s okay if a little unexiting, which makes it a big bottle to get through.

In Flandres, winters must be rough, such a beer will warm the coldest of heart in a freezing winter. A round beer to sip with a caramel and vanilla touch. Very sweet, to melt the frost off of your body and mind!
