3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale and flat looking beer, which was not very inspiring. The flavour is bitter and mildly hopped, but nothing special. Overall the beer is fairly average.

Different than anything I’ve had. Has a hoppy sweetness with almost a white wine characteristic. Very light mouthfeel. It smells like a cross between a lager, a saison and a glass of white wine. Very refreshing with a nice bite at the end. I found this in a grocery store in France and thought for 3 Euros I might as well try it. Definitely good stuff.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crystal clear, yellow to golden with medium head that dissipates. Aroma is candy, light sweet malt, sugar, mainly light malts. Nice but a bit one dimensional. Taste is medium sweet, alcohol notes, light herbal and floral notes, some fruitiness(white grapes), some light citrucy notes too. Some bitterness at the finish. Medium body, light to medium carbonation. A bit one dimensional in general but decent brew.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Whiff of yeast. Golden pils like colour. Tiny bubbles foam head. Tastes this typical metallic trait of cheap pils. Carbonation is shy but abundant. After a few sips its alcohol content is dominant. Mouthfeel is ok. Could quench thirst ok but not worth more.

Bottle in a hotel while in France with Susan. Pours a pale gold with a white creamy head. Aroma is earthy, yeasty, malty with some grassy / flowery hops, light zesty citrus. Finishes dry. Really nice beer. Picked up at a random grocery store.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2015 My everyday beer, perfect for warming up before a cold evening or a party! Good French bière de garde although the alcohol taste is a little bit too strong.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark yellow colour with a pillowy light creamy white head. Aromas of grass, straw, barnyard and dome light citrus notes develop underpinned by some maltiness. Light effervescent with a slick texture and medium body. A good balance between sweet and hoppy bitterness. Medium finish and an excellent companion for dome creamy cheeses.
