Originally rated May 2008. Third one in the St-Urbain line that Labatt’s brews. Pours a light golden-amber colour with a decent frothy white head that has average retention. Mild carbonation and not much lacing. Nice fresh malt scent at first, to then, be invaded by a unpleasant metallic aroma. Watery mouthfeel found in boring swills. The flavour is pretty bland. I don’t even find it sweet, so I cannot find the honey in here. Notes of corn and that metallic offering. Not bad when dranked from the bottle, but other than that... whatever.

Bouteille 341 ml. 4.9%.

Bottle. Poured golden copper with a thick long-lasting white head. Aromas of honey and caramel. Mild sweet taste with a touch of hop bitterness. Overall nice balance and conservative flavours.

341ml bottle bought in Quebec. Amber with a thin white head; sweet aroma with some honey; flavour also sweet and honeyed with a well-balanced bitterness; the finish is rather sticky and too sweet.

341 ml bottle- Deep amber liquid sits under a short lived off white fizz. Little bit of lace. Nose is cereal grains and mild caramel malt and burnt brown sugar with a wet hay like aroma as well. Tastes of over processed sweet caramel malts and sugary grains. A touch of vegetable towards the somewhat bitter finish. Sub-Par.

Bottle: Poured a light copper color beer with small bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of sweet malt with some adjunct. Taste is also dominated by some sweet adjunct notes. Thin body with some medium carbonation. I can find a fault in this beer except for the fact that this is bland and incredibly boring.
