2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from Ray’s Liquor in Chico, CA. Pours brassy gold with a foamy white head. Mildly sweet aroma. Nothing obnoxious. Med body. Flavor is actually a bit vinous. It’s not too sweet. Heat is a bit too obvious. No fusil oils. But it just does not really taste all that nice. Better than many tallboys, but not something to seek out.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
24 ounce can, 4/10/15. Clear golden, thin fizzy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of fusel alcohols, grainy malt, green apple. The taste is grainy malt, green apple. Medium bodied, low carbonation, faint booze, overly sweet.

Canned @ home, courtesy of blackipa. Walez bro, thanks bra. Pours a clear golden orange appearance with an off white head. Super sweet, candied orange, boozy, Slurpee aroma. Ye gods, this is a motherfucking sweet piece of booze. Citrus, cookies, 7-11 candy aisle flavor. Not my kind of malt likka.

1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
24oz can thanks to womencantsail. Pours a clear, deep golden with quickly diminishing soapy white foam. Nose is huge apple, tannic apple skins, mildew. Taste is apple juice, tannic apple skin, while alcohol bite. Pretty awful.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Can. Berry, barley malt and alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet berry barley malt flavor initially but is quickly overwhelmed by fusel alcohols. Like watery Kool-aid mixed with paint thinner. Evil.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can-check, black gold flashy label-check, taken down to below zero-check. Ok we’re ready. It pours with a crystal clear gold body that has copper hues and supports a micro thin white head. The aroma offers up pears, apples, sugar and some chemical booze. The taste starts sweet and ends sweeter. Amid the bruising sweetness loiters sticky apple juice and pear juice. There’s only a mild boozy roughness but as this warms just above freezing the sweetness gets unruly. This is a 3er.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
5/6/13. 24oz tallboy with BIG thanks to BlackIPA! My man with the big plan! I hear some jackass entered this under the wrong name, 9.8% instead of 9.9%. I guess I’ll have to fix that. Clear gold, basically no head. Corn, watermelon, fusels, grape, bubblegum, and apples. Gross.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
can 24 oz
Aroma: Well. It’s not very good. Sour skin grape but without barrel treatment. Behind lighter theme , gentle hop , sugars and mineral touches. Rounded-up with ripe pear. 3+
Apperance: poured as clear straight golden brew. Medium lighter snow white top. Sparse lace mind you.
Taste/Palate etc. struggling to compose my mind after initial sip. Tart fruity feel with offensive off flavor that has bitter bend to it. Fusel fuel. Gowd how this could be allowed for retail? It simply beats me. Hey thinking more about this ...I have seen such stuff ..during one off festivals when brew master insisted on providing 2 weeks old barrel aged (vino) barrel aged barley wine. Different means , same result.
