Can shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Huge thanks to MacBoost for shipping this one. Pours clear gold with a white cream crown. The nose holds sugary dough, white bread. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with touches of honey and cantaloupe, more white bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Smooth and sugary to finish. Great stuff.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from Ray’s Liquor in Chico, CA. Pours brassy gold with a foamy white head. Mildly sweet aroma. Nothing obnoxious. Med body. Flavor is actually a bit vinous. It’s not too sweet. Heat is a bit too obvious. No fusil oils. But it just does not really taste all that nice. Better than many tallboys, but not something to seek out.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can big thanks to MacBoost, Rich & Sarky at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is grainy, paper, creamy, tapioca and raw alcohol. The taste is crisp, raw alcohol upfront, corn, straw, tangy apple, pear and cereal with a dry, boosty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy action. Pretty rough and hot. Poor.

Canned @ home, courtesy of blackipa. Walez bro, thanks bra. Pours a clear golden orange appearance with an off white head. Super sweet, candied orange, boozy, Slurpee aroma. Ye gods, this is a motherfucking sweet piece of booze. Citrus, cookies, 7-11 candy aisle flavor. Not my kind of malt likka.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Can. Berry, barley malt and alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet berry barley malt flavor initially but is quickly overwhelmed by fusel alcohols. Like watery Kool-aid mixed with paint thinner. Evil.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can-check, black gold flashy label-check, taken down to below zero-check. Ok we’re ready. It pours with a crystal clear gold body that has copper hues and supports a micro thin white head. The aroma offers up pears, apples, sugar and some chemical booze. The taste starts sweet and ends sweeter. Amid the bruising sweetness loiters sticky apple juice and pear juice. There’s only a mild boozy roughness but as this warms just above freezing the sweetness gets unruly. This is a 3er.
