Interesting. I guess this is the smaller brother to the regular Stack HGSL. Iíve seen this now in both the 10.1% and 9.9% variety. Iím not sure if they are going after the Canadian market and doing another lower one in the 7-8% range, but one would hope. Clear gold pour with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of cotton candy and corn. Sweet finish. Kind of like a desert style malt liquor. Not bad at all.

24oz can poured into a snifter, just like all good likkas should be. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head.maroma of corn, green apple, white grape and a hint of cotton candy. Taste is light tart, follows aroma.mloads of grape and apple with corn and a little caramel. Light bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and quite the long finish. Overall, not bad. More tart than I was expecting but the alcohol is very well hidden.

Can from Rayís Liquor in Chico, CA. Pours brassy gold with a foamy white head. Mildly sweet aroma. Nothing obnoxious. Med body. Flavor is actually a bit vinous. Itís not too sweet. Heat is a bit too obvious. No fusil oils. But it just does not really taste all that nice. Better than many tallboys, but not something to seek out.

Can from El Cerrito. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose of corn, sugar, and grape drink. Apple, alcohol, and a touch of cough medicine. Flavor is super sweet. Fusels, corn, apple, sugar, and grape. Paper, grass, and a hint of cough medicine.

Big can purchased in a slum part of Vegas. Can looks good at least, kind of a Jack Danielís feel to it. Last beer of my Vegas trip. Smells like light pears at first pour. Slightly sweet, which i do not mind. The sweetness stays in the taste with some fruity notes. Clean golden, white head, decent stay, not much carbonation and some good creamy lace. Some light hops in the finish. Not a bad malt liquor overall, as more sweet than on the corn side, but with some decent fruitiness and hops.

24 oz. can. Pours a minimal, poorly retained, white head, over a clear dark yellow (SRM 4) body.....nose is corn, apple, alcohol....taste is corn, sweet apple, fusil type heat, finishing with lingering light sweet cereal....mouth feel light, alcohol poorly hidden, with substantial warmth, carbonation makes a fizzy soda. This is simple, highly alcoholic, and meets my low expectations. It does not have any major technical flaws, it just isnít very interesting. BJCP 4/2/9/3/5

24 oz can from "Habits" in Salem $1.49 This is actually a very cool can design. Lighter golden lager, clear, with a large thick, frothy white head. Honeyish, slight alcohol, rainwater, bready, not as bad as expected. Taste was OK to start with, more of the sweetish/honey malts but on the and it becomes harsh like cheap vodka. Palate ,is OK..carbonation is good. For the price and alc content not that bad really

5/6/13. 24oz tallboy with BIG thanks to BlackIPA! My man with the big plan! I hear some jackass entered this under the wrong name, 9.8% instead of 9.9%. I guess Iíll have to fix that. Clear gold, basically no head. Corn, watermelon, fusels, grape, bubblegum, and apples. Gross.
