Bottle BBE 1.2.15. Well-chilled. Deep chestnut brown body with a towering, loose, rocky tan head. Plenty of green hop aromas, sightly resinous. Some biscuity sweetness and roasted character. Light sweetness and a medium bitterness to taste. Medium body with high carbonation and a foamy texture. The roasted malt lingers long on the palate. Overall a decent beer, particularly interesting for a lager. Maybe a bit over-carbonated, but the choice of hops neatly complements the roasted character.

Bottle from trade with Hermod, as part of the Euro Local Swap, many thanks! Klare orangebraune Farbe, fingerbreite beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, bitter, leicht schokoladig, röstmalzig. Geschmack bitter röstmalzig, Kaffeebohnen, leicht hopfig, fruchtig, gut!

Bottle as a gift from Helsinki. BB 1.12.2015. Pours light brown, chestnutty in the glass. Head’s big, but only retains as islets and a ring. Off-white. The nose is rather attractive - a nice mixture of burnt black bread, roasted malts and sourish marmalade made of berries. Almost gooey sweet later on. Tastes less as fulfilling, but it’s still very nice - that same marmalade and berry sourness is there, also the roastiness. Light to medium body. Carbonation near flat. Overall pretty nice.

[2015-03-07] Pikimusta, kuulas, luonnonvalkoinen vahto. Tuoksussa hieman yllättävästi sitruksista humalointia, joka virkistää kovasti paahteista mallaspohjaa. Maussa korostuu paahteinen maltaisuus, joka päättyy katkeruuteen. Hiilihappoja keskiasteisesti.
