Cola black beer with a small brief beige foam. Very fruity aroma with some notes of chocolate - smells like a black IPA actually. Tastewise this has a lot more roastiness and coffee than what the smell suggests. Nice medium bitterness. Quite thin body but drinkability and carbonation are nice. I really like this. Refreshing black lager for summer.

Smell of roasted malt. Dark brown colour, medium beige head. Aroma of ash, licorice, roasted malt. Flat but semi-plentiful carbon. Bitter. Ashy dry palate. Much better than the generic schwarz. Definitely to be recommended.

Black, not too much head. Citrus, burnt bread. Bitterness gets a bit harsh, yet the aftertaste becomes a bit light. Has character, but is not a very balanced beer. Also not too true to the Schwarzbier style, like a Black IPA instead.

Bottle from Alko, Kemi. Black beer with a small head. Hoppy aroma! Some roasted malts and lots of hops in the flavour. Very smooth mouthfeel. This is very hoppy for a dark lager. I’m no style expert but could this be a black IPA even. Very drinkable.

Cola brown clear beer with blonde head leaving lacing. Aroma has chocolaty and bready malts as well as tar and citrus. Flavor is piney bitter, citrusy and roasted malty. Palate is thinner than medium with soft carbonation, almost flat, with a watery feel and some stinging bitterness. Finishes with a quite mild bite of bitterness, leaving aftertaste of grapefruity bitterness as well as roasted and sweet malts. I don’t remember ever having a dark lager with American hops. Kind of a Black IPA / Schwarzbier hybrid. Too bad the flat palate ruins this beer.

Nummenrannassa. Enjoyable beer, reminds me of a light black IPA more than a usual schwarz. That’s not bad at all! Lots of dry roasted malts, enjoyable bitterness.

Bottle. Dark amber, very small and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and roasted malt with light tropical fruitiness, light - some piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and roasted malt, light fruitiness and piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, faint caramel and light roasted malt with some piney hoppyness. OK dryish schwarz with roasted malt and decent bitterness - not much caramel.
