Medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, vomit notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt and hop bitter, acrid bitter, ash - dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120726]

Nautittu hanasta. Katuu lasiin mustana ja hieman valoa reunalta päästävänä, vaahtoa ei käytännössä ole. haju on suklainen, kahvinen, paahteinen, hedelmäinen, puinen ja hieman salmiakkinen. Maku on todella vahvan kahvinen, multainen, juurinen, puinen ja hieman salmiakkisen suolainen. Suutuntuma on katkera ja "mukava". Kokonaisuutena haju antoi odottaa todella hyvää olutta, mutta maun kahvisuus vähän lässäytti tämän oluen kokonaisuutta. Kahvi kun peitti kaiken muun alleen.

Cola brown beer with a huge foamy beige head. Fruity aroma. Lots of coffee flavor. Sweet. Medium body. Very nice.

Draught at Syystoober in September 2012, Helsinki. Pours dark, almost black in colour with a small brown head. Roasted malts and chocolate in aroma. Coffee, wood and roasted malts in flavour. Quite nice.

0,33 l on tap @ Vihreä Haltiatar. Pours very dark red with a thick high head. Aroma is roasted malts and fruits. Flavor is roasted malts, black coffee and hops. Slightly thin, but good.

Pours deep brown with high tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, pine and soap. Flavor is hops, dark roasted malts, citrus and chocolate. Nice beer.

Black coloured with medium creamy top. Nice citrus aroma that accompanies roasted malty taste.

Draught. Black, lightbrown head. It starts off as quite roasty, as a normal stout. But after a while a piney, resinous, hoppyness kicks in. Body is medium/full with a lot of roasted tones, but its shared quite nicely with the same resinous theme as was found on the nose. Theres even some citrus, which makes it quite refreshing, in a very black manner. Some yeast dustiness.

Nearly black color, a big head. A strong roasted aroma with notes of malts and chocolate. Taste is a little dry with strong flavours of malts, chocolate and coffee. A slightly bitter finish where hops come in. Medium bodied and sticky, could be fuller. Interesting, roasted dark IPA. Similar with strong stouts, even Imperial Stouts.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2012. Very dark ambery brown colour, close to black, with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, toffee and some sweet malts. Flavour is ashes, roasted malts, big fruityness and some old coffee. Quite nice attempt, but a bit harshly balanced.
