Draught @ Villi Wäinö, Helsinki.
Pours a dark ruby red colour with a large white foamy head. Aroma of cherries, bread and wet earth. Flavour is rather musty with cherries, hay, malts and metals. Light bodied and high carbonation. The metallic notes are very disturbing. Not refreshing either. Useless.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2013 5,3% tap @ Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Pours a dark ruby red with a nice, pinkish head. Aroma is cherry, cherry candy, caramel, lightly sour, quite sweet. Taste begins lightly sour, a bit sweet cherry, but turns a bit unpleasant. A mixed fruit juice, light floweriness, light touch of malts, bit of a mess really. A lot of carbonation, light palate, but not watery. An alright quaffer for hot weathers. Not very weizen-like. Could be a different beer altogether.

Pours dark red with a thick smooth head. Aroma of sweet cherries, some stingy notes and hints of spices. Taste is fruity, slightly tart and stingy with notes of cherries, spices and sweet sugar. Finish is juicy, stingy and sweet with notes of cherries. Sweet, unbalanced and a bit messy.

Very interesting special beer. First of all it is very fruity and cherry flavour is dominating. On the other hand there is a strong beer on the back stage, which gives quite unique combination. Definitely a yes - must try this once. But order 0,4 - not whole pint.

Aroma is a bit odd and stale with some spices and berry juice. Flavour has berry juice, some spices and woody notes. Somewhat tart finish. Some metallic notes occur at the end of the glass. Odd, does not taste like weizen at all. The spicy notes feel very familiar, perhaps some curry food?

Draught at the Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, Finland. Clear ruby red colour with a big pinkish white head. Sourish cherry aroma with wheat, cookies, malt and fruits in the aroma. The flavour is cookies, sweet malt, sourish cherries, fruits and hops. Quite unbalanced mixture of lots of different styles. But still drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Blackdoor, Helsinki. Pours hazy amber with a foamy off-white head. Fruity, but not sure if I can really spot the cherries in aroma, feels morw like some apricots in the vein of some tropical fruits in aroma. The cherries are to be found definately in taste nonetheless. A bit like some cherry infused sour berliner weisse like brew.

Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Cherry, fruits, sweetness and hints of yeast. Quite carbonated. Weizen? Beer for girls.
