Tasted as part of a batch of three in the same series, which makes a lot of sense as the point here is to get what the different hop varieties do to virrtually the same beer. For me, what as noticeable with the Boadicea, in contrast to the Amarillo and Centennial, was that the relatively gentle but clear hop character lasted through the beer without fading.

330ml bottle (Stadin)
Slightly hazy copper, small loose head. Lovely fruity and flowery hoppy aroma. Slightly flat palate (I only let this condition in the bottle a week). Sweet caramelly malt base, good serious bitterness, without being caricatured. Long finish, gliding gracefully from the sweet and fruity to the dry and bitter. Good old-fashined English style bitter.
