COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stadin Weizen on perinteinen vaalean kuparinen baijerilainen vehnäolut. Tuoksultaan olut on neilikkainen (fenoli) ja jonkin verran hedelmäinen, lähinnä banaanimainen. Maku on pääasiassa neilikkainen ja jonkinverran banaanimainen. Vehnäoluiden tapaan Stadin Weizeniakaan ei ole suodatettu.

courtesy of oh6gdx - cloudy dark blond beer under a giant foamy white head; aroma of citrus and cloves; medium-bodied and slightly acidic; juicy and dry; yeasty and fruity finish with notes of hay and banana - fresh and lively

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Hazy gold beer, fluffy white head. Light, airy and dry palate. Dry minerally malt. A forensic trace of fruits. Tasteless and dry - bleh!

Smell of citrus. Cloudy amber colour. Bitter, which gives it a nice wintery quality. Fruity, citrusy and surprisingly few weizenbier qualities. The missing link between witbier and IPA. Lovely experiment among Finnish beers.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, white foam head. Pale malt nose, light wheat. Light sweet flavor with white sugar, moderate yeast, white bread. Light bodied with high carbonation. Light sweet finish with fine wheat and very faint yeast. Easy going, but pretty basic. (3.1)

At another ChrisO Tasting at some point...I think...I found the notes...Pours lightly hazy yellow with a huge, white foam head. Light sweat in the nose, plenty of dough. Light sweet flavor, somewhat bland, mellow wheat bread, light yeast. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bland finish, a bit more light wheat. Just kind of basic overall, though not offensive. (3.0)

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Poured a cloudy golden with a big, lasting two finger white head. Wheat, estery yeast, banana & citrus aromas. Similar flavour profile with a more pronounced citrus bite & some clove notes. Light to medium body, erring on the side of thin with medium carbonation & some grain amongst the short fruity finish.
