33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours hazy to murky dark orange with a huge and lacing white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelish and yeasty. Mild acidity in the flavour alongside a good caramelish base and mild yeasty presence. SMooth caramelish and yeasty finish.

Bottle at Arendsnest. Murky orange body with sizeable head. Fruity nose. Taste of fruits and slight smoke flavour. Didn’t really like it. Quite prickly and heavy.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, labelled De Jonkheer Tripel. Hazy golden with a good head. Fruity, somewhat acidic citrussy aroma with hints of yeast. Even some farmyard. Sweeter flavours, definitely fruit and some spices. Acidic notes remains. An interesting tripel.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. A hazy, orange beer with a finger-thick, dense, off-white head. Slightly sourish and chalky nose with a good hoppyness. Fruit, sweet flavor with quite much fruity sourness. Decent bitterness too. The finish is sour and decently bitter. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel with a little astringency. Sure off, but still quite decent. (090514)
