From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity, spiced, yeasty and slight phenolic. Bitter, toasted and malty flavoured. Toasted malty and breadish to biscuity finish. Subdued bitterness.

Das Bier ist wie die anderne Biere der Brauerei recht mild. Ab dem Mittelteil ist es malzig aber auch etwas muffig. Im Nachgeschmack herb-bitter. Könnte würziger sein! Test vom 4.11.2006, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 11,9,9,9,-,9 - 9,21

Draught at the brewpub. Weak caramelly aroma, slightly spicy. Hazy amber colour. Stable creamy tan head. The flavour is malty, caramelly. A hint of roasted malt and vomit. Also slightly moldy. Not as bad as it sounds, as these are only tiny amounts.

Bottle. Courtesy of Sk8viking. Huge thick bubbly off-white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Somewhat clear and sparkling body with a straw like yellow color. Aroma of mild grass, hint of dusty floral notes, mild grains and caramel feel. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Light dry and mild bitter finish. Quite nice.
