joss (3117), Garching b. München, Germany Aug 20, 2008 Bottle, thank pivnizub. Fairly honeyish nose. golden, fine pearling bubbles, lacing off-white cream. Honey, light hay, a hint phenolic, metallic hops, slightly oxidized, but I think its a older bottle. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. perfumed finish. Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jul 4, 2008 bottle, Danke pivnizub! Golden yellow colour, medium-sized head. Full-bodied, bitter-sweet with some fruityness and hints of herbs. MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany May 17, 2008 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a dense, mid-sized foamy white head. Sweet and a bit biscuity pale malty aroma with a shy grainy and fruity touch. Sweet flavour with a light but balancing bitterness, medium bodied with a soft and pleasant mouthfeel. Pale malt-character with biscuits and a light grainy touch; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with shy hoppy notes and alcohol showing up. Not overly exciting, but still decent pale Bock (17.05.08).
