Zu Beginn ist eine weiche Hopfigkeit vorhanden, die mit erdig-nussigen Gewürztonen überzeugen kann. Dazu kommen im Mittelteil herbe Noten, die aber nur ergänzend wirkend und einzeln eher unwichtig sind. Erst zum Ende hin wird die Herbe stärker, unterliegt aber auch hier dem weiterhin erdnussartigen Hopfen. Frisch, süffig und rund, im Nachgeschmack süßer, wodurch das Bier vollmundiger wirkt. Leicht grasig. Gelungen! 9/10/11/11/6/11

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein absolut glasklares, hellgoldenes Bier mit grober, seifiger, kurzlebiger Krone. Der Geruch ist süßlich würzig, angenehm gemalzt. Der Antrunk fällt malzbetont aus. Ein leichter Hopfenanflug im Hintergrund macht sich bemerkbar. Das Ganze geht in die süßliche Richtung. Der Abgang ist hingegen hopfig, zunehmend herber werdend. Zur Mitte wird’s noch mal ne Spur herber und würziger. Gefällt mir sehr gut, dieses Festbier! Aussen pfui, innen hui!

Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity notes, light to moderate hoppy, light butter and sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, butter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100225]
