(bottle) Clear and dark amber colour with a foamy and steady off-white head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with caramel, slightly tart. Sweet malty taste, caramel, slightly sour, medium to light bodied, dry, hoppy and malty finish. This one has a distinctive tart aroma and taste, which is – pleasant or not – not more than decent.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg (as Loffelder-Märzen) Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Very gentle with whipped cream and butter. Laid back and soothing. Seemless malty flavours, slight bitterness. Stunning!

Bottle as "Loffelder Märzen". Pours out in a deep amber-golden colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops, malt and barley. Taste of mild hops, barley, bread, flowers, straw, caramel and mild fruits. Smooth finish. Nice one.

Geschmack würzig malzig, leicht fruchtig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts intense malty-spicy, fine wheaty, modest sweet with hints of caramel. Malty-wheaty finish. Well balanced and quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle by 12.11.12. Nose is very sweet an caramel-laden, some earth and toffee. Clear orange pour with a fluffy beige head. Taste is very sweet with the aforementioned flavors, picks up a bit of bitterness with cardboard by the end. Crisp medium body, some nice malt layers. Appreciate the seafoam-green label, don’t see enough of that these days (and paired with royal blue lettering!). Still pretty enjoyable, decent-enough malt showcase.
