2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A pale blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet adjunct malt with light sulfur notes. In mouth, decent sweet malt with light German hops, typical but goes well with doubles, mahn!

I got this when I was in Trinidad. Nothing bad, nothing good. Just a lager like thousands in the world.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This has a little more alcohol and slightly more body than the regular Carib but, basically, it’sjust another tropical lager that tastes OK if it’s ice cold and you need to kill a thirst. Otherwise it’s terrible. Canned, Kensington Oval Cricket ground, Barbados.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can found all over Barbados. STAG is marketed as a "man’s beer" on the island. The pour is an SRM 4 clear straw with a large detergent white head. Good retention and some spotty lace. Aroma is sharp, soapy, big time dish water. Taste is licorice, vegetables, rhubarb, carrots, cloying alcohol. Maybe some sweet honey in the finish. Actively offensive. Drainpour.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle on the balcony, Worthing, Barbados, 21/12/11. Brilliant gold with a flimsy white head. Slightly lemony, pale grain and hay aroma. Corn, slight envelope taste but with respectable bitterness. Nothing to dislike except it tastes like cardboard dunked in water once its been stood in the sun for 5mins. But then so does Green Flash West Coast IPA at this latitude.
