Big thanks goes to RCL for this gem! Pours an extremely pale yellow with a big foamy head. Big carbonation. Standard pale lager aromas of grass, corn and a bit of skunk. a little sweet towards the finish. Crisp and light.....considering where its from......

Bottle on the balcony, Worthing, Barbados, 21/12/11. Brilliant gold with a flimsy white head. Slightly lemony, pale grain and hay aroma. Corn, slight envelope taste but with respectable bitterness. Nothing to dislike except it tastes like cardboard dunked in water once its been stood in the sun for 5mins. But then so does Green Flash West Coast IPA at this latitude.

On vacation in the Caribbean I drank mostly this after I realized how truly bad the Carib was that was on tap. For such a light beer, I’m surprised that it packs 5.5%. If you are looking for weak citrus notes with a fully-loaded carbonated body, this is the beer for you.

Bottle. A friend brought this back from his cruise through the Caribbean. Poured a clear yellow color, with a two finger white head. The head was gone as soon as the beer was gone. Left some lacing on the side of the glass, lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma was corn and grass. Metallic flavors, with corn and malts. Very thin and watery. Nothing really to this beer. I can see sitting in a typical island and these being very good. On this first day of March Madness though, not very good.

Can found all over Barbados. STAG is marketed as a "man’s beer" on the island. The pour is an SRM 4 clear straw with a large detergent white head. Good retention and some spotty lace. Aroma is sharp, soapy, big time dish water. Taste is licorice, vegetables, rhubarb, carrots, cloying alcohol. Maybe some sweet honey in the finish. Actively offensive. Drainpour.

bottle. Poured pale straw coloured with a thin white head. Aroma is a little skunky. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. The flavour is generic, grainy with light malt notes. Moderate dry citrus finish.

Thanks to my friend Dave for the can- Sparkling golden pour. Medium white frothy head. Nose of pale malts, grains, floral hops are faint. Tastes of sweet grains, lemon, a bit of floral hops. Spritzy finish leaves a bit of a bite. Slightly above average.
