2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
275 ml bottle via Coop. Hazy pale gold. Bready aroma with a similar flavour. Some citrus at the end, mild hop pepper. Probably fine on a Trinidadian beach.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Tony. Lightly skunks, some half decent hop aroma though. Sweet and mostly tasteless, reminds me of Henekein but better?

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Thanks Marjan (and heavy)! Shared with ogivlado and Jablanko. Poured a shiny yellow-golden body with a small head. Strange, not that pleasant aroma, corny feet really, dusty, eggy, meh. Corny, sweetish taste with a solid carbonation bite, bready, eggy again, but somehow harmless and drinkable, a crappy beer saved by the mouthfeel. And even though the adjuncts are dead obvious, it managed to be better than many beers that followed...

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Oh they just keep getting worse on this trip. Bottle pour in Belize very light gold. Nose mostly skunk with a hint of corn. Taste odd astringency followed by brief sweetness. Then the corn and adjunct. What’s that? A hint of cashew at the end? Really not very pleasant.

1.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Rating #1106 - May 25, 2014 - Taste of Spruce Grove - Sample. Smell is horrifying. Very skunky. Clear pale yellow lager, taste is like any other high distribution lager. Highly carbonated. Nothing to get excited about, especially for import prices.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Straw color and aroma. More hop bitterness than found in the typical light lager but the taste was a little offensive. Still, cooling on a hot summer day.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tiny bottle, which I purchased thinking that I hadn’t rated a Trinidadian beer before (forgot about Carib...D’OH!). Skunky hops, sweet corny malts, makes me nostalgic for old-school Heineken before they leeched out all the hops and started contract brewing it.
