3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle. Very dark brown and clear. Tan creamy head but brief. Pleasant coffee and roasty nose, not strong but rich; some liquorice and nutty hints. The flavor is more sweet than expected, evn if a roasty and coffee character outcrops after that. Medium body and low carbonation but quite mouthcoating.
Another pleasant discovery in Finland.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Color reminds me of mämmi. Nose has some coffee and roasted malty notes Flavor is liquorice and chocolate with some sweetness. Finishes quite dry and malty, abit too hard carbonation thought.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2011 Stallhagen Dunkles is almost black beer with a medium and large bubble head. Aroma is pleasant: combination with roasted malts and sweetness plus some smoke and sourness. Flavour is very similar than aroma: some sweetness, roasted malts and still some smoke. Quite easy to drink and there could be more body. This was my first time to drink Stallhagen Dunkles, but better later than ever. Convincing beer and I will bough this also later, nice beer.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 0.33 l. Deep brown, almost opaque. Very very brief head when puoring. Nose is fresh, hoppy, candy sweetness. Flavor is sllightly roasted malty, candy sweetness here too, cofffee, caramel. Very flavorful. Ultra low stallhagen style carb, which makes it feel a bit stale. Easy to drink. A bit porterish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Scant head id beige, thick and disappears fast. Leaves tiny lacing. Color is very dark reddish-brown, practically black. Aromas are sweet roasted malts, a bit chokolate. Smooth roasty malty flavors. A bit rye-bread and dry hops in the end but flavors disappears quite soon. Palate is smooth, medium-bodied.
