Draught. I really wonder if they’ve changed the recipy since the couple of first reviews? This thing is very thick and smokey, almost like a celtic porter! Very strong tobacco and smoke aroma. Quite bitter, roasted taste of malt. Almost completely black with just a hint of red. Lovely roasted finish.

Erasmus_ro (1399) - Alabama, USA - MAR 3, 2011
330ml long necked bottle. Pours a dark brown, almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted maltiness, a bit of smokiness, more than a hint of salty liquorice. Taste is much of the same and the salty liquorice comes through even stronger as well as hints of coffee. Palate is quite light, but not watery with little carbonation.

Bitter and roasted. Quite unpleasant taste when fridge cold, but considerably better when a bit warmer. Very heavy taste.

tlind2 (1140) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 24, 2008
330 ml bottle. Blackish-brown color, no head. Syrupy aroma. Dark malty flavor, some cocoa. Watery mouthfeel, low carbonation, medium body. Somewhat boring.

Archibaldo de la Cruz (1122) - FINLAND - JUL 16, 2008
Bottle. Medium-bodied dark brown beer with a light brown head. A bit sweet, roasted malty aroma. The flavor is roasted malt with notes of smoke. Quite nice beer.

Kita (1121) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 5, 2011
Bottled, 0.33l. Pours pale dark chocolate colour with medium sized frothy head. Coffee aroma with notes of yeast, bread and smoke. Roasted coffee flavour with traces of nuts. Mildly hoppy with strong aftertaste of roasted malt. Medium bodied with creamy texture and low carbonation in palate. Very good one...

esox (1086) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 8, 2010
33 cl bottle. Pours black with beige, creamy head. Malty and toasted aroma has dark fruitiness and some salty licorice. Smoke and coffee in the finish. Malty taste is strong and dark, sweet and salty at the same time. Finishes slightly bitter and chalky. Medium bodied, soft carbonated and quite thick palate. It might have had a handful too much colour malts. Chaliness is not that great thing. High quality beer anyway.

austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - JAN 2, 2009
Dark brown to black, tiny tanned head. Bitter coffee aroma, little raisins and dark chocolate. First there quite a lot of metal, but it fades out quickly. Strongly coffeeish flavor, dark chocolate, mild smokiness, dried fruits and liquorice. Kinda Impyish flavors, though a lot milder. Light to medium bodied, easy lush carbonation. Alright low ABV sipper, better when warm.

Nordcore (1027) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2011
Bottle 33 cl. Black with a shortlived lightbrown head. The aroma is sweet , not to much, a bit chocolate. A bit more taste, the cocolate and the sweetness is still there with a roasted sence. Light body, a bit oily.

raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - MAY 18, 2008
Bottle 0.33 l. Deep brown, almost opaque. Very very brief head when puoring. Nose is fresh, hoppy, candy sweetness. Flavor is sllightly roasted malty, candy sweetness here too, cofffee, caramel. Very flavorful. Ultra low stallhagen style carb, which makes it feel a bit stale. Easy to drink. A bit porterish.
