2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden orange beer with a white fluffy head disappearing quite soon leaving little lacing. Aroma is nice with honey sweetness, grainy malts and grassy hops. Taste continues on the same path, becoming a bit drier and maltier towards the end of the glass. There’s a fair amount of bitterness - not pils levels but still a nice bite and an almost medium long finish. The mouthfeel is thin and carbonated - almost like vichy, but not watery. This is like a pale lager should be - I wish it would be a bit cheaper. Probably should be labeled under Premium Lager?

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle, slightly hazy clear yellow colour with small frothy fully diminishing head. tiny traces of lacing. Aroma of grass, grains, fruit and cookie. Taste is initially sweet and slightly acetic, turning into a slightly bitter and sour short finish with a metallic feel. Light body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Somewhat more interesting that the usual bulk lagers here but has something of a poorly concocted feel to it, could’ve also been expired but there’s no best before date to be found anywhere on the bottle even after thorough examination.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
33 cl brown bottle, abv 4.5, from Kilpishalli.
Rich scents of hops, pale malts, fruits, fresh grass.
Head’s soapy bubbly, disappears as a ghost and leaves nothing.
Golden body. Taste of hops, malts, orange, sour grass.
Mouthfeel alright. Ends with dark malts, and something "old", spicy sour something.
This beer may go well along with strong tasting food.
