wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Rovaniemi over summer, Finland Mar 11, 2008 Deep, slightly murky brown with no real head ever developing. Old coffee that’s been left on the burner for far too long. Slightly brothy as well. Light, bready sweetness in the aroma. Flavour initially lacks much sweetness and is quite salty, brothy and savoury. The finish has an indistinct sweetness. Warmth brings up some aromas and flavours that could be likened to soy and eggplant. Oily texture with flatish carbonation on a medium body. Not working for me.
33cl bottle, 2008.
