WICKED PURPLE HAZE - Red Swissqon Ale” Åländska bryggeriet Stallhagen lanserar ett nytt intressant öl på fat för den svenska marknaden. ”WICKED PURPLE HAZE” är resultatet av ett flera dagar intensivt samarbete mellan Stallhagens bryggmästare Mats Ekholm och femton barmästare från Stallhagen Premium Pubs runt om i Sverige.

Draft @ Nya Tröls, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak buttery hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with buttery hints. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

Draught at Bishop Arms, Folkungagatan Sthlm juli 2013. Deep amber beer with a creamy tanned head. Fruity, hoppy, malty and caramell aroma. Fruity, hoppy and sweet malty flavour.

Draught at Bishops Arms, Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Hazy reddish amber beer with a decent beige head. Fruity aroma, cherries, caramel, grassy, grapes, citrus, wild strawberries, some dough. Hoppy flavor, cherries, red berries, caramel, bready, hay, floral notes. A bit thin bodied. Caramel and wild strawberries in the finish.

Det här är en konstupplevelse, inte en last. Förstår ni inte skillnaden och drar allt över samma kam har ni inte en chans att bli tagna på allvar. Skönhet ligger i betraktarens simmiga ögon.

On tap at Bishop Folkis, January 2013. Clear amber with a medium, fluffy white head. Aroma and taste of fruit, toffee, malt and some berries. Rather sweet with a dry finish. An ok beer.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Fruity nose woith some dates and cardboard. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Notes of dough and cherry. Drier spicy finish with medium bitterness.

On tap at Bishops a while back. Light smell with some fruits. Fruity taste with some caramel. A bit mild and the high level of carbonation hid allot of flavour. After a while the "sviskon" shines through.

Clear amber body, offwhite head. First aroma is pure urinal, then sweet malt, small herbal hoppiness. Flavour has bread and malt, little bitterness leaning to alcohol taste.

Draught @ Saddle & Sabre. Red-brown colour with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, vegetables. Flavour is caramel, berries, vegetables.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Hazy brownish purple colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, plums, prunes and crisp-bread. Fruity, malty taste with prunes, plums, dried fruit and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Surprisingly enjoyable. Nice one.
