Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Pours a rich golden color with a finger of sticky foam. Nice complexity on the nose with touches of spicy yeast, tart fruit, citrus hops and a bit of funk and bubblegum too.The palate is just as complex and follow the nose nicely with great balance and drinkability. Crisp clean and focused with a nice dry finish. Very happy with this beer !

Keg (Craft, Islington)
Pleasant grainy saison aroma, a touch wheaty. Nice hazy yellow. A bit watery and keggyfizzy body. Pleasant, and quite mellow, balanced spiciness - the classic saison yeast fingerprint.

Keg at The White Horse American Beer Festival 2015, Parsons Green, London. A hazy yellow coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Fruity, yeasty, lemon aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, yeasty, lemon. Smooth and easy drinking Saison.

06.07.2015, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly strange floral, weeds, flowers, yeast, vegetables, grass, grain, old potatoe cellar, minerals, citrus peel, paper. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, yeast, flowers, hay, paper, grain, vegetables, grass, minerals, old potatoe cellar, citrus peel. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottle to glass, very hazy yellow with small head, vanishes quickly, mild lacing. At first the aroma is overpowering yeast / skunk but the objectionable character of it subsides quickly. After that, it is a lighter refreshing experience with lemony grassy yeasty notes. Mixed semi dry finish. Mild peppery. Subtle but noticeable hops. Don’t expect a standard beer experience here.

Small sample from 355 ml bottle, at a 4th of July tasting. Promising and nice farmhouse kitchen / brett aroma, but the flavour was too thin, bland and not very interesting. The Motueka hops did not come through as much as I’d like. Might sample again, but not if I have to pay for the bottle myself.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, bubbly white head. Aroma is light citrus, faint yeast, a bit of funk. Taste is citrus, light grass, a bit of yeast, cracker. High carbonation, light on palate. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, with a big creamy head receding to a small cap. Aroma is quite spicy hops, with sweet citrusy and grassy notes, and nice woody yeast with fruity farmhouse notes, as well as some roasted malts. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dry wooden yeast, with fruity notes of plums and a nice hoppy touch of lime, nectarines and and peppery grass. Lingering tart yeasty finish. Very refreshing and easy drinkable.

Kort.
