COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Pours a rich golden color with a finger of sticky foam. Nice complexity on the nose with touches of spicy yeast, tart fruit, citrus hops and a bit of funk and bubblegum too.The palate is just as complex and follow the nose nicely with great balance and drinkability. Crisp clean and focused with a nice dry finish. Very happy with this beer !

Bottle 0,33l. Pours a golden colour with a white head that fades fairly quicikly. Aroma of oranges, lime leaf, light dough, white pepper. Light bodied, modearte carbonation. Sweet hay and dough, slightly sour citrus, dry and fairly bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: cloudy straw with two fingers of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and lacing. (5/5) Aroma: coriander, lemony citrus, crackery malt, white pepper, dry musty hay. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter, light funky tart. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate-low carbonation, lightly funky finish. (4/5) Decent complexity, some lightly sour lemon and mild barnyard funk intermingled with various spices and crackery (or maybe doughy) malt. If you enjoy the style, this is worth trying. (16/20)

Bottle from VP Aker Brygge enjoyed at home
Yellow, totally hazed, big white frothy head. Smell of spices, hints of banana, other fruity yeast esters, light malts, complex and inviting. Light sweet, bone dry, a quite spicy flavor paired with banana and other yeast flavors. Just delicious! Moderate bitter, grassy tail. A world class saison! Also the label which teach you noodling is hilarious

Clear straw color with white head. Aroma has sweet yeast esters and some fresh lemony note. Taste is yeasty, slightly astringent and mineral. Aftertaste is dry and dusty. Body is on the light side with medium carbonation. Not bad but it’s somehow too simple for my taste.

Bottle. Hay and slight citrus on nose. Golden in colour with hint of haze. Very spritzy mouth feel. Yeast and hops play off each extremely well to give a ’best of both worlds’ take on a saison meets pale ale.

Bottle, shared with Davey. Quite light lemony yellow, persistent light head. Nice rustic yeast and green hop character, crackery malts, dry peppery finish. Just so good!!

12 oz. bottle served in a tumbler- poured a non transparent and hazy lemon-yellow color. Massive foamy and bubbly white head formed but dissolved to one finger in size after a few minutes, no evidence of lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of wheat, funk, and lemons. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt is very light (which it should be), lime and pepper do come through in the middle, finish is light like sunshine. Nice.

OK is not a leader in craft brews...but this was excellent! Medium gold color. Solid body. Spicy with some sour. $3.19 per 12 ounce was above excellent local farmhouse ales.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a white head that fades fairly quicikly. Aroma of oranges, lime leaf, light dough, white pepper. Light bodied, modearte carbonation. Sweet hay and dough, slightly sour citrus, dry and fairly bitter finish. Spices seem to disappear. Refreshing. Another good one.
