Our Belgian Style Amber is made with a mellow toasted Belgian malt and is lightly hopped for a flavour that has a soft bitterness and an exceptionally clean finish.

On tap, but have purchased in the bottle as well. Nice liquid - some micro qualities with macro consistency.

bottle. Poured clear orange-amber with a small off-white head. Sweet, bready-wheat aroma, really appetizing. Medium bodied, smooth creamy mouthfeel. Bready malt flavour with caramel and mildly bitter. A nice clean finish.

En fût au Bay Side Lounge Vancouver. Couleur ambrée, peu de mousse. Arôme de céréale. En bouche, un peu de caramel, malt. Finale sans histoire. Fait la job.

On tap, Joey’s in Sherwood Park. Amber cour, small cap, tight creamy layer left after everything settles. Looks hazy but it might be the light in here. Grains in the nose, slight sweetness. Taste is grainy, a bit tangy, light level of caramel. Dry finish, grainy, hint of grass and citrus. Ok.

On tap at some pizza joint in the gas light district of Vancouver. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Nose is of bubblegum. Taste is of yeast, bread and bubblegum. Mouthfeel is medium-thin, watery, slightly bitter and had good carbonation.

Nose of caramel, light toast and roasted malt. Some sweetness and light hop genericness as well. Pours darker amber with nice clarity and a thin creamy head. THe flavor is toasty, roasty caramel malts with light residual sweetness, mild hop bitterness. Lingering light sweetness. Not much going on here, decent mouth feel.

Caramel and toasty malts in the light sweet aroma. Clear amber body roped by a decent and lasting off white head that leaves some lace. Moderate bitterness offers the caramel and nutty malt qualities. Medium body with moderate carbonation. I don’t know if I’d consider anything to be Belgian-style about this beer but it is fairly drinkable. Sampled on tap at the Canucks game at Rogers Arena in Jan-12.

Bottle. Clear amber. Small head turns into a ring quickly. No lace. Weak malt & hop aroma. Likewise with the taste. Slightly floral hops. A little bit bready/yeasty. Carbonation a little restrained. Unremarkable overall.

In bottle; aroma somewhat sweet. Taste similar, with some hops kicking out at the end. Quite thin bodied, almost watery. Overall not a bad beer for a local beer ... easy drinking
