Our Belgian Style Amber is made with a mellow toasted Belgian malt and is lightly hopped for a flavour that has a soft bitterness and an exceptionally clean finish.

First review in what feels like forever, after a bout of the stomach flu followed by a three week long head cold Iím good to go again. Golden with elements of amber in the body complete with a short lived white cap. Very mild aroma, soft aroma, hints of apple, musty bread. So very smelless!!! Taste is better and very domestically average. Feels fizzy, like swallowing a thousand beeís. Big bread, sweet musty apple, almost eastern European tasting but it doesnít get there. Maybe lemon but really it a bready penny. THE END

Bronzed-gold appearance, topped by an airy froth head. Light grain in the aroma and very crisp. Watery body, though flavored by a pleasantly sweet graininess. Despite the name, this seems like more of a blonde ale.

Chemical maltiness. Dark amber colour. Weird sweetness. Bad enough for me to fake caring enough to write a long enough review.

Itís amber. A little sweet. Some malt. Iím pretty sure I saw a picture of this in the dictionary under "bland".

Can. Cloudy amber pour, not much head. Sweet and malty, a touch metallic, unremarkable. Don't really catch what's Belgian about it. This is about as mediocre as it gets.

Draught@Bridges, Granville Island. Deep golden color, off-white head. Malty aroma. Fairly sweet, malty flavor with nutty notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Oh well.

Aroma is roasted fairly rich caramel malts, honey and straw. Taste is sweet malts and honey. Very pale bitterness. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Floral notes and citrus notes in the aroma, body matches the aroma with a caramel and mahogany taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A slight grainy malt character to this. Amber body. Grainy aroma. Really not much going on here.

Pours a pretty, rose-tinged amber with small, chunky off-white head. Nose offers mild floral and cherry notes to complement yeast. Palate adds caramel, biscuit and a hint of spice. The body is light and thin, but still manages to be buttery. The bitterness is well controlled, adding a slight edge to the mellow malt in a Belge Speciale style. It comes bit short of its Belgian counterparts, and Americans looking for "big" beer should look elsewhere. But as a gentle, balanced brew, itís woth considering.
