2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
First review in what feels like forever, after a bout of the stomach flu followed by a three week long head cold I’m good to go again. Golden with elements of amber in the body complete with a short lived white cap. Very mild aroma, soft aroma, hints of apple, musty bread. So very smelless!!! Taste is better and very domestically average. Feels fizzy, like swallowing a thousand bee’s. Big bread, sweet musty apple, almost eastern European tasting but it doesn’t get there. Maybe lemon but really it a bready penny. THE END

Floral notes and citrus notes in the aroma, body matches the aroma with a caramel and mahogany taste.

A slight grainy malt character to this. Amber body. Grainy aroma. Really not much going on here.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pretty, rose-tinged amber with small, chunky off-white head.
Nose offers mild floral and cherry notes to complement yeast. Palate adds caramel, biscuit and a hint of spice.
The body is light and thin, but still manages to be buttery. The bitterness is well controlled, adding a slight edge to the mellow malt in a Belge Speciale style.
It comes bit short of its Belgian counterparts, and Americans looking for "big" beer should look elsewhere. But as a gentle, balanced brew, it’s woth considering.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is a straight up clean and malty beer, there was a mild bit of soapiness in the background. very low hops.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Uninspiring aroma. Flat white head that dissolves into white thick lace. Amber pour. Roasted malt is the most prominent flavor. Nice bitterness on the palate. Somewhat subpar for stanley park but still a decent beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A decent amber ale. Has decent caramel malt notes and a clean finish as the bottle indicates. Drinkable if not terribly original.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma was mild and the head was short lived for a "Belgian". However the taste and palate (other then the lack of significant carbonation) was very pleasant, what one might expect from a Belgian single. I bought two 6 packs last year and then it disappeared here in Saskatchewan. When I came across it on a recent trip to Edmonton I bought some more because it is a little different from other beers.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Looks kind of flat. Not much head on the amber pour. Sweet caramel, roasted malt aromas. Kind of thin and watery. Malty taste leads to slight bitter finish.
