Available on tap as Stanley Park Wit Beer, this is a wheat beer with a cloudy and dull yellow colour and a quickly-fading white head. If this sounds unappetising, don't be put off! This is a delicious well-made beer. Very appealing notes of coriander and citrus zest, and with a refreshing, very slightly hoppy, dryness. Extremely more-ish and refreshing I would recommend this to any beer aficiando visiting Vancouver. Long live Wit beer!

2014-02-21. Crisp dark yellow small white head fades. Aroma is sweet, pale malt with yeasty notes and spice, coriander and whisp of lemon. Flavour is similar, sweet pale malt core, moderate spice throughout, muted wheat accents, mild bitterness throughout. Average palate. Okay, quaffable but lacks depth. Bottle courtesy of GregClow

Blanche opaque avec un petit col blanc. L’arôme sourdiné d’agrumes et blé. Le goût est un peu de blé et agrumes mais aussi de la bièrre bon marche. Très ’meh’ mais bon pour le brasseur.

330 ml bottle Stanely Park Wit 5% ABV. Clouded dull yellow, unsustainable foamy white head fizz’s out fast. Fruity yeasty aroma. Light and fruity wheaty taste, coriander and citrus zest. Soft carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Dry vapid finish, ho-hum. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Pretty bad. Pours slightly cloudy blond with ok head and lacing. Some sourness at the end and funk. I guess there’s a note of hay flavoured malt. A bad example of style. On tap at Garrick’s Head pub.

Aroma is yeast, wheat, citrus. Very boring wheat with some funk to it. Carrots. Bleck.

On tap at The Met in New West. A bland, insipid beer. Nothing that a lemon wedge can’t fix. The lemon wedge was graciously supplied by the bartender in advance.

Draught at Hops, New Westminster
Hazy blond color. Light aroma of wheat, spices and bread. Light body, with some wheat flavor, as well with some chemicals; light spices, and no bitterness.
Artificial.
