Bought at Tesco’s. Big bottle, looks nice. It tastes a little bit soapy, but not too bad. (Hard to say if other nigerian beers are better). Somehow typical industrial Lager Beer, hop character misses almost completely.

Erzengel (2341) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2014
The beer starts smooth, malty, not too thin, easy to drink. The mainpart is malty with nutty-herbal hints, fresh, smooth. The aftertaste is medium, not too watery, slightly sweet, slightly grainy, fresh-malty. Nice! 10/12/8/8

Appearance: Clear golden amber with 2 finger thick pillowy head. Aroma: Citrus, floral, slight corn, sweet aroma, light maltiness. Taste: Low/medium sweetness and sourness with low bitterness. Palate: Thin coarse texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering citrus, malty, corn flavour with a rising bitterness and light herby pepperiness. Comments: Tasty and glass lace.

Fungerer sikkert helt flott rundt ekvator.

Bottle from Toby, out of date, but who cares. Clear gold lasting white head. Only slightly oxidised aroma, but mostly wet cardboard. A little bit of lemon and some ok lemon flavour but mostly like licking a wet copy of the Evening Standard.

Light hop flavour, bread. crisp, fruity, Palate: Light body, light carbonation. watery Overall: Drinkable, especially in the warmer weather, but not a beer I would hunt down. 600 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! (First beer of 2014) 2A. German Pilsner (Pils)

dynamiteninja (1469) - Richmond, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2013
Bottle at 5.1%. Pale gold body. Thin white head that quickly dissipates. Nose is corn, lager malts, grass, red fruit, hops. Raw alcohol. Lemon. Some hoppy bitterness, some sweetness. Some sourness. Dry, malty finish. Fizzy mouthfeel. Can imagine a cold one of these really hits the spot in Nigeria. Could do with less sucrose in it though.
