Bottled. Finally - one of my most sought after beers! Pours hazy golden with lively creamy head. Citric nose. Light bodied with creamy malt. Citric and fresh, most likely past itís prime (after all itís a zhivoe pivo), but who cares? Itís a simple, yet drinkable from a wonderfully weird Stalinist place. Shouldnít this count as a beer from the USSR?

Thanks to Boystout for arranging this amazing trip, and for helping me to bribe the border guards to get home. Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of citrus, straw, white pepper. Taste is plain straw with a medicinal and metallic aftertaste. Weak body. Definitely the best Transnistrian beer Iíve had so far!

Bottle many thanks to Dorin for sharing, at the GBBF, 16/08/13. Very lightly hazed blonde with a thin white head. Nose is bready malts, grain, cereals. Taste comprises bready malts, fruits, cereals. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. I thought this was a most decent PL !

Golden-amber. Thin head. Aroma is a bit buttery, as per CCCP. A little bit toasty, some light diacetyl. Ok, for a Soviet-style brew.
