Draught (backlog, had@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm). Coppery brown colour with a small brown head. Aroma is mild toasted malts, coffee, some fruits and mild syrupy notes as well. Flavour is chocolate, mild toasted malts, some ryebready notes as well as mild syrupy notes.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with hints of red. Frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, dark fruit, nuts and chocolate fudge. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, hints of chocolate and dried figs, dry and bready finish with a fairly low bitterness. On the thin side. A decent dark Czech lager, but hardly exciting.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2008 Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Dark brown, minimal head. Nutty and a bit syrupy. Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body, notes of soap. Finishes with low bitterness. Solid, but not very eventful.

(Draught at Delirium Cafe, Göteborg) Served ice cold, bartender had no idea of the strength "around five" he thought. Very dark brown color, tan to brown head. Sweet grainy malty scent with some butterscotch. Also a slight bit fruity. Burnt roasted, fruity and sweet taste. Some chocolate. Grainy aftertaste, a bit dry. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Dark clear reddish brown, medium off-white head. Roasted malt dominate, with some coffee and butterscotch. Medium bodied and smooth. Good balance, but a bit boring.
